Few days ago, one of my blog reader sent me a link to BG Automotor new C100 electric car. The C100 is going to be North American first mass produced electric car. The C100 is going to be classified as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) meaning it can only drive at a certain speed.

The car does look a lot like a standard Hyundai Getz but it is a pure electric vehicle off the production line. The electric car is affordable price at $15,995 and BG claimed the C100 will be available for sale in the first quarter of 2009. Check out BC Automotor C100 video below.
