<p>Few days ago, one of my blog reader sent me a link to <a href="http://www.bgelectriccars.com/">BG Automotor</a> new C100 electric car. The C100 is going to be North American first mass produced electric car. The C100 is going to be classified as a <a href="http://cbelectriccar.com/blog/neighborhood-electric-vehicle/diy-neighborhood-electric-vehicle-nev/">Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV)</a> meaning it can only drive at a certain speed.</p>
<p>The car does look a lot like a standard <strong>Hyundai Getz</strong> but it is a pure electric vehicle off the production line. The electric car is affordable price at $15,995 and BG claimed the C100 will be available for sale in the first quarter of 2009. Check out BC Automotor C100 video below.<br />
