Although the is not a pure electric vehicle, it does have a huge potential to be an all electric vehicle in the future. The current trend is focusing more on plug-in hybrid vehicle. I believe as battery technology advances, we will be seeing more and more pure electric car from the automotive industry. In the mean time, we have to settle for a plug-in hybrid.
