After reading all the sights; I am at a loss as to why Tesla Motors was not ranked number one. The Model S has a range of 300 miles and looks and drives like a real car.

This is an excellent top ten list. I hope that the infrastructure and battery technology continue to develop so that it we can be oil independent.
