Tire can lose up to 10 lbs of pressure in the course of a few months. Once they drop 8 lbs below the recommended level, they are considered a safety hazard.
Having a reliable tire gauge such as the Accutire gauge is essential because you can’t tell if the tire is under inflated just by looking at it.
To measure the tire pressure of your electric car, just remove the cap from the tire valve and press the “set” button on the Accutire. A reading of 0.0 psi appears until you place the gauge over and on to the valve.
