John, when I first visiting the web site, there was a pop up regarding guidelines for rebuilding of hybrid batteries, which I ignored. There are always chances that may end up as loser if you do not see everything carefully. I simply started scrolling to see the price of the guide. There were so many testimonials from users who had purchased the hybrid battery rebuilding guide. Some of them had actually built a new battery in a week’s time with the help of the guide.

I once again concentrated on the screen to read further, it was clearly mentioned that rebuilding hybrid battery would cost around $500 using the guide. I did not read further, I had purchased this car nearly eight years back thinking it to be environmental friendly. I am of the opinion such guides are quite useful and can be used to rebuild hybrid battery yourself. Needless to add that this guide helped me in saving around $ 3000 and my car was back on the roads.

To be honest, when the battery pack on my Toyota Prius was having some problems, I wasn't so keen to send it to an authorized dealer. The price of replacement was the same as quoted by the dealers as it would have made me poorer by around $4000. My battery was eight years old, remembering it carried a warranty, I looked for the warranty card from my old files, it was guaranteed for eight years. I called one of the dealers, who suggested me that I could get one from the factory for $ 3000! I could not find any sense as the new battery would cost me $ 1000 more.

Finally all the options were feasible and even more my bank balance also did not approve it. I looked at an alternative option, look online and find something about hybrid battery replacement recommendation.

It was difficult to understand as from where to start, eBay or Craigslist, there were some chances at Amazon also as they have everything available online. Once I typed the rebuilt hybrid battery in the search box and clicked it, it came with so many options about dealers dealing with the batteries; I once again looked at the quotes. In the end of the day, cost is a main factor for me.

Quite useful information friend, Most of us adopting hybrid vehicles because of it's technology or may be for it's fuel / MPG figures or some may just to reduce the cost of maintenance but we are just forgetting about the Battery which power this vehicle and knowing the replacement cost and time period is very useful.
