A preview of the Jeep Wrangler EV
Back in 2008, Jeep has unveiled their Wrangler EV. The Jeep Wrangler EV theme is “Go Anywhere, Do Anything”. The powertrain of the Jeep EV includes an electric motor, a lithium-ion battery pack and a small gasoline engine used to produce more electricity when needed. With this powertrain the Jeep EV is able to output 268 hp and 400 Nm of torque. That is a lot of power!
The Jeep EV has a small gasoline engine that will use 8 gallons to run for around 400 miles, including 40 miles of zero fuel-consumption and zero-emissions. Check out the video below.
