Electricity 4 Gas Manual – Is It A Scam?
Electricity 4 Gas Manual A Scam!
If you were to do a query on Google the phrase “electric car conversion guide”, you will see Electricity 4 Gas manual popping up. The e-book was written by a gentlemen name Peter Millward. On his website, Peter claims he an Environmental Activist. To be honest, I am not sure if he even exist.
Many people would think Electricity 4 Gas guide is a scam job. But what is the definition of a “scam”.
If something is a scam, its main purpose is to cheat others for their own gain. I doubt Peter’s e-book is written for that reason. If an e-book is a scam, then all the books in the library are scams also. It is a matter of perspective.
Before you read Electricity 4 Gas, you need to have your expectation right. The book is meant for those who are keen to know how to convert a gasoline driven car to run on electricity. The target audience is novice or amateur and not professional electric vehicle (EV) retrofitters.
If you were to think about it, most people would not have the skill nor the know how to do an electric car conversion from their home garage. It would be a better idea just to outsource the work to a professional mechanic.
To be prudent, you should at least know some basic stuff about pure electric car. At least you will know when you are being charge for parts or work not needed.

Peter Millward Electricity 4 Gas Scam
Electricity 4 Gas Scam?
Is Peter Millward’s Electricity 4 Gas e-book for real? I have been surfing the web and there were a few pages that talk about electric car conversion books that does not deliver.
If a program is intended to deceit people, than it is a very clear a fraud. Books are intend to provide information. Whether you can appreciate the information or not, is another question.
Before anyone purchase any electric car conversion guide book such as Electricity 4 Gas, they should know what is their objective.
What do they plan to get out of the book?
Most e-books offered on the internet are for information purposes only. If you are looking for detail calculations and electrical diagrams, sorry to say you will not find them.
If you want some heavy reading on Do It Yourself Electric Car, may be you can consider Bob Brant’s Build Your Own Electric Vehicle paperback book.
Electricity 4 Gas is definitely meant for amateurs. The book is useful for someone who is keen to know the science on a homemade electric car and yet may not have to skill nor know how to do a conversion himself. He may prefer to outsource the retrofitting work to a professional mechanic.
When he has some knowledge about electric car, he can then have a intelligent conversation with the mechanic.
If anyone still think Electricity 4 Gas is a scam, maybe he is expecting too much from a simple e-book. In this case, the book may not offer him any valuable information.
If you want a good book to read on a lazy Sunday afternoon, Electricity 4 Gas may just meet your needs.

Electricity 4 Gas Peter Millward – Find Your Ideal Electric Donor Car
Electricity 4 Gas – How to Find Your Ideal Electric Donor Car
I have been reading Peter Millward’s Electricity 4 Gas Manual again. It is surprising how much information that I missed the first time that I read it. In the first chapter of the e-book, Peter wrote about finding your donor car for the retrofitting process.
How do you know when you’ve found a great donor car?
I don’t think there is a fix rule. Peter mentioned that you must know what you want to do with the electric vehicle when you’ve done with the conversion work. Do you want the EV just to carry friends and family or do you need it to carry heavy good?
Based on the research that I did, for normal driving needs, an old VW Beetle would be suitable as an electric donor car. In the first chapter of Electricity 4 Gas manual, Peter suggested to look for a donor car with a manual transmission. It makes a lot of sense actually.
An automatic transmission would need constant torque from the engine to pump the transmission fluid. The fluid has to be pumped even the car is stationary. When an EV is not moving, the electric motor will stop spinning. Without torque, you can’t change gears!
For someone who is planning to start a Do It Yourself (DIY) electric car conversion project, getting an old VW Beetle as a donor car would be ideal. There is no complicated electronics to mess with. What we want is to get the retrofitting done as quickly and as cheaply as possible.
